Swine Flu Information for General Public - issued by Health Protection Agency 

The national swine flu telephone helpline will be closing on 11th February 2010.  Advice can still be obtained from the website.  If you think you have swine flu or need advice, please DO NOT attend but telephone the surgery on 0844 980 0292 for help. 

 Patient Participation

We are actively encouraging our patients to have a say in local health services by joining up to LINk.  A Hampshire Local Involvement Network.

This has been set up as an umbrella organisation that brings together existing networks, organisations and individuals in Hampshire interested in Health and Social Care services.

To join, please complete a form, available in reception, to register.  You will then be sent details of how to access the website and will also receive updates by post from LINk. 

We do not currently have a patient participation group exclusive to the surgery, but your views are always welcomed and you can write to, or email, the practice managers. 

The Practice is part of the WINCAR practice based commissioning group, which consists of 13 practices covering Winchester City and rural villages.  The LINk will unite these practices giving us all a strong voice.  WINCAR plans to set up a website in the near future giving you updates on its objectives and achievements on your behalf.
