Blood Tests

Blood Tests can only be booked if requested by a GP or other Healthcare Professional.
Once the blood test has been taken, we would advise you to wait around a week after to call for the results (this can also depend on the type of test or how many tests have been taken).

We do not call you if the results are normal, we would only call you if any further action were needed.
Please note if your test was requested by the hospital, the results may have gone straight to the hospital and not your GP.

Appointments can be booked online by Patient Access or calling our Reception Team (Option.1).

Find out more about Blood Tests on the NHS Choices Website (see below).

Before you book a blood test; please ensure that any relevant paperwork from the Private Clinic is passed to Reception at Stokewood Surgery, for one of our GPs to review before any appointments are booked.
